    On the 8th April I wrote on the subject title ‘Living to die’ and now I am writing a daughter’s reflection on the passing of my mother, Valma Jean, on 13th April 2019. My mother was 92 years old.     I have not been blogging as regularly as usual. The reason is that I have been attending to my mother’s care needs – she is 92 years old. While demanding it has been a privilege to care for her at this time of her life.     Merry Christmas

    Christmas is just around the corner and lots of us are saying Merry Christmas and wishing all a happy holiday. At our home this December we have had a great lead up to this festive season. Christmas day is not just about one day. These days I put up the Christmas Trees, our main one in our dining room and a smaller one in the family room, mid November!
